I know in Germany due to their lack of expert human resources they would accept a number of skilled employees and employers by having a blue card. The process is that you must prove to the embassy you are either accepted and have a working contract with sufficient yearly income to pay the taxes or you are sent by your current company in India as an expert to another German company to work for them. Before getting blue card for Germany you must get a level of German language. At least B2.

Well I was not looking specifically for Germany, any other country would be better than this shithole I'm currently in. I am currently trying a lot of options. I just wanted to give this EU blue card a try since the options I am trying so far haven't been fruitful to gtfo of India.

Yes it is a newly introduced European equivalent to the green card in US, inspired by the blue eu flag.

"The Blue Card is an approved EU-wide work permit allowing high-skilled non-EU citizens to work and live in any country within the European Union, excluding Denmark, Ireland and the United Kingdom, which are not subject to the proposal." More here.

For me its probably Canada. Just the general aura really speaks to me

Dunno for me. It's easy to romanticise countries but I'm sure they all have their own problems. The idea of living in Japan really appeals to me, but it's hard to ignore all the inherent issues they suffer from at the same time.

I guess Iceland and Canada would be really nice and probably have high quality of life. I'd probably get bored though.

Yeah i'm pretty content in new zealand. There are so many places that i want to visit, but i like the isolation and the scenery here. Even though there are places around the world with similar scenery, it's still very untouched here.....for now.
