Incredible album, an absolute 10/10 in my mind. Liking it much more than Ironbound simply because of the punchier production. Both albums are amazing, but, I think I do prefer the songs on The Electric Age more.

Favorite song on the album is "21st Century Man", really original trash song.

Just as good as Ironbound, if not better than a tiny tiny bit.

My first Overkill album. Amazing album, all songs great... For me, the best 2012 release so far.

Hello guys, I am really wondering if you could help me here. I am kinda having some kind of weird case. It's like my head cannot stop banging while this album is playing. I am also really getting addictive and I can't stop playing this album. Is it healthy? I asked my local doctor, he said let me hear it, but then he got infected too! I got my copy and noticed the copyright date was from 2011 ... wondered if it was a misprint on the cd or not .... being it is a 2012 release... But regardless it is an amazing album.

This is my first Overkill album, and since I can't compare it to "old Overkill," as it stands alone, it's a solid work. Now I'm gonna need to do some research and see which of their other albums I can grab.

One of the most hard-working metal bands, one high quality album in two years. Overkill is still not a big name after 30 years, maybe that's the reason they are still aggressive and uncompromising.

This was strong, but if you want a hint, listen to Ironbound too! \m/ that crushes your thrash metal meter up to the top...that's sweet agressive maniac thrash metal!

Meh, my expectations were higher. I think 8 is a very fair score, no more.

I dunno, seems like pretty average thrash for me. Listened to album three times, and it still feels "meh". Although, maybe "Vektor" spoiled me in terms of what to expect from a thrash metal release.

Very good album as expected! I give it a nine!

This is STILL the best album of 2012 so far. We are nearly in June now, someone is going to have to step up big to top this.

Vektor is cool and rather unique but also considerably overrated. It's possible to be all 3 of those things and that is what they are.

Old Wounds, New Scars is my personal standout off the album, ripping guitars in the chorus sound like a devil's chainsaw needing a bit more gas! First Overkill album i've bought and judging from the consistent songwriting on the album, the first of many!

And you do very well, suport the talented bands, not the fake ones!

Overkill still bringing it hard in 2012. This album is quite good, and even thought I am probably guilty of some Ponderering every now and then, to me Overkill is an example of a band who is at least as good if not better on their recent albums than they used to be back in the 80's.

Excellent album, the one complaint I have is the lyrics, which normally don't bother me. Some of these lyrics are painfully bad, it seems like they just threw words out that rhymed.

I liked their previous album "Ironbound". I never would had thought " The Electric Age" was going to be way better.

It can't be rated a bad album, but there were only two or three songs on this album I'd I love to hear them several times more.

Pretty good but Ironbound is better.

exactly still playing retro thrash after all these years and still crushing and ruling.

Electric Rattlesnake = Coolest freaking bridge ever.

Nothing special at all.

I'm seriously starting to think that this may be their best album.
