I really like Metal Machine and for some reason the band prefers to play the other two over Metal Machine on their gigs, which always pisses me off

When I think of songs about metal I think first right away of Rattlehead by Megadeth. It's a very thrashy, fast song with riffs that are basically lead parts, and the lyrics depict the thrash metal scene at its beginnings. It was on their first album, Killing is My Business and Business is Good. I like it because it is energetic, (humorously, it helps me do math homework quicker ).
Along the same lines are Whiplash, Hit the Lights, and Metal Militia off of Metallica's Kill 'Em All, actually most of that album is about metal itself. I really like Kill 'Em All too, I listen to it a lot, but sometimes it's just too ubiquitous.

Haha, the lyrics in this song is pretty creative I must say I think that I do prefer Metal Crue, with Metal Machine at second place
