Brimming Horn’s “Scorched Meadows -- Agalloch mead A few words from Brimming Horn’s founder & Mead-maker, Jon Talkington “It's an honor to make this unique mead for Agalloch! For "Scorched Meadows" we combined wildflower honey, mountain huckleberries, then fermented the mixture with a red wine yeast and aged it in a Laphroaig smoked whiskey barrel. We were inspired by John and Jason's Montana roots to use mountain huckleberries and finish the mead with an accent of smoke to tie everything together, as our mead always tells a story.
