Septicflesh - Part Ways With Drummer
Greek symphonic metal horde Septicflesh just announced that they have parted ways with drummer Fotis Benardo. No reason was given for his departure even though they announced that Namtar from Carach Angren will be behind the drum kit on their show in Cyprus this December. Fotis was in the band for a few years and now leaves unexpectedly.
The band posted this short statement: "Septicflesh have parted ways with Fotis Benardo. We would like to thank him for his contribution all those years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. For the upcoming show December 21 in Cyprus, Namtar from Carach Angren will be behind the drum kit. We will keep you posted about the drummer that will take the permanent position on the band."

The band should part ways with their cover art artist first and foremost, my God he is horrendous. And secondly they should do away with the entire recording line-up. That has really gone from bad to worse over the past copuple of years and albums.

Always sad to hear about a band member leaving... I'm wondering now, wasn't Fotis the guy behind the symphonic arrangement in the band ?
