Not sure how the Updates feed here works, but I'd like to see a tweak or two if they're possible. A lot of times one of your favorite guitarists or singers will appear on something completely off your radar, and since it's technically not news about his/her main band it won't show up in the feed. If news articles etc could be tagged with multiple things, that might work - something like this:

Any band wholly involved in the piece gets a tag and it shows up in feeds for fans of any of those bands; also any individual acting apart from his/her band gets a tag under his/her name and it shows up in feeds for fans of ANY BAND he/she is in. This makes a lot of sense to me since there are so many side projects etc to keep track of.

On a related note I'd like to be able to 'fan' musicians currently not in a band (f.ex Chris DeGarmo) to get updates if there are signs of life
