In Flames - Debut New Track, Reveals Album Details
Swedish metal veterans In Flames have revealed some new info about their upcoming album, along with a brand new track. The 12th album will be called Battles and is due to be released on November 11th via Nuclear Blast Records and Eleven Seven Music. The new song, which is available to be listened to in the YouTube player below, is called "The End". Enjoy the new track and feast your eyes on the artwork.

Reminds a bit of SOAPF indeed but doesn't feel quite inspired, dynamic nor catchy to me. Yet it's better than Siren Charms but it's not even a nice word saying that after all could they do worse than Siren Charms ? (some parts of that song are damn cheesy tho) PS : to me November rings like the new DT album and I'm sure they won't disappoint me

So I totally acknowledge that this is very distant from albums like Clayman and Colony, but... This is a good song. All things aside I really enjoyed this track. And obviously, it absolutely murders everything off of Siren Charms. If the rest of the album is consistent with this song, I think I'll really enjoy it.

Very catchy opening line in the chorus 'Do you think about the end' Other than that I hate the verse, bad bridge repeating the same line a few times, and a very lacklustre solo. Sounds better than the last couple albums though, so actually interested in checking the rest of the album out.

Instrumentation is fine, but the vocal lines are kinda lame, and I dunno. It's not really that catchy. That said it's far better than anything on Siren Charms so who knows, might be good?

Wow I'm really really liking this. Don't get me wrong, it's no Colony, Reroute to Remain, or Come Clarity, but it's the best thing they've put out since CC. It's cheesy as fuck and won't be anywhere near the favorite album lists but I can see myself playing this a lot. It's a mindless singalong that feels extremely cozy and comfortable. It's really fun.
