You gotta feel sorry for Chris Slade, the amount of times he's been hung out to dry by the band in favour of Rudd. Happy to see Cliff and Brian back though, the band might be living off former glories but I'll be damned if I don't want more of it anyway

03.10.2020 - 14:22 Written by Joppe on 02.10.2020 at 18:20 let's see, whatever happened to "I dislike late 80s Ac/DC", 'I find late 80s Ac/DC bland/boring/uninteresting", "I find late 80s AC/DC songwriting poor". No, "dogshit" is better.

13.10.2020 - 13:54 Written by JoHn Doe on 03.10.2020 at 14:22 I appreaciate your concern to sophisticate me, but I'm not such a person. I hope you can see where I'm coming from; I am a man of essence, not of culture -- if you know these concepts from G.I.Gurdjieff's terminology. When I write there's no choice, there's only one way like in zen calligraphy, or I don't write at all. When I see these options you have presented, well they're not options for me, maybe others are able to choose, but for me there is no choice; I could never write in that way and it seems unnatural to me. So when I use "dogshit" it's the best word available in that current situation that I'm facing and there's no other expression quite like it. I know that you disagree about what I wrote about late 80s AC/DC, but that is really what I feel about those albums; I even bought them when I was young after listening to Bon era albums and Back In Black, and to me those albums were massive disappointments after hearing the good ones. But I guess it's just opinions, albeit, in my case, a persistent one right since the beginning.

13.10.2020 - 14:12 Written by Joppe on 13.10.2020 at 13:54 I understand why you used that word, I would never use such a word to describe music, even when I dislike or am disappointed about a band or an album. You said yourself "massive disappointments" - much better, and I understand what you're trying to say better than 'dogshit'.
