Visions From The Darkside - 19th November 2012
| |
Godless and Chuck examine Robb Flynn's ballsac, ask why any American band would play the Czech Republic, figure out if Pandora can withstand a lovers quarrel with bands, the signing of Watain and Buckcherry to the same label and whether or not Jim Martin of FNM is really alive at all on this week's VFTD.

Perhaps. But would you be happy if bands boycotted playing in the USA if the government did something to piss people off? Especially something YOU disagreed with? You'd be angry and fuck about that. But thankfully the USA has never done ANYTHING to piss off ANYONE so you're probably safe, lol.
Imagine all the Czech fans who disagreed with that whole escapade. Sucks when people form an opinion of your whole country based on something petty your government does. |

| Please listen to my thoughts on the matter, Susan. I think there is a real danger to Randy Blythe if something else were to happen. Would I suggest bands boycott the whole US? Probably not, true. But would I suggest boycotting a single state? Absolutely. Especially if the state prosecution (which is how it works in the US) were going after a musician most obviously being persecuted for his music and not for the facts at hand. The boycott shouldn't be permanent. It should last only until Randy Blythe is vindicated. |
