I love any music that is melodic, progressive or just plain beautiful.
My favorite metal genres are progressive, power, neoclassical, technical death and melodic death. Overall, the element I like the most is the progressive one. I value beautiful, calm music, but I'm also a little into extreme metal... as long as it does have melody.
I also listen to flamenco, blues, classical, jazz (fusion, gypsy) and acoustic (Michael Hedges and similar).
My first concert took place on July 5th, 2012, and the band I went to see play live was VADER. Fucking. Amazing. Concert.
