Martyr
Yeah, I'm going through their discog. The best one gets in.
I think "Warp Zone" is the best album to start with, if you ask me. |

Yeah, "WZ" and "Feeding The Abscess" are MASTERPIECES.
"Hopeless Hopes" slightly less insane in my opinion.
We really need a new album |

Same here:
1. Warp Zone
2. Feeding The Abscess
3. Hopeless Hopes
And yes, we need a new album.
And now, back on topic. |

Thanks. More to be added. I'm on an endless quest to find the finest in death metal technicalities, and hope to pass the 100th mark at the very least. |

| Mech you need to check out Lust Of Decay, sick ass drummer. They probably fall a little more into the brutal category but still very technical and very sick!!! |

Will do Psyko and, if appropriate, will add them here. No worries. |

Sceptic. Pathetic Being is the only album by them I've checked out in entirety but its amazing and has some of the best drumming I've ever heard.
Element - The Energy (amazing tech/prog death album)
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes (tech death)
Aspid - Extravasation (tech thrash)
All I could think of that wasn't already on here for additions. Check em out! |

| Should add the new Hour Of Penance album Sedition. It doesn't fall directly under the TDM category but like Krisiun's Southern Storm it is relatively techy BDM. Another one I just noticed isn't here is Severed Savior's Survile Insurrection... |

To be honest, I liked Paradogma a whole lot more than Sedition. I mean, it's nice, but Paradogma was better imo.
Severed Savior is a band I have yet to listen to, so expect me to pay them a visit soon. |

To each their own, honestly Sedition is the only album of theirs I like. I have tried many times to get into The Vile Conception and Paradogma but every time I'm bored and want to listen to something else after the first couple tracks, however when I checked out Sedition to see if they changed much with a new vocalist and new drummer I was hooked instantly from the start and I actually listened to that album non-stop for like the next 2 weeks after that. And even since then, just in case maybe I just didn't get The Vile Conception or Paradogma the first few times, I have gone back and listened to those albums front to back a couple times and still they just bore me and I can't find anything that keeps me interested... |

It's tech-death, I'm not a huge fan, but it's certainly no DOOM. |

Demonocracy is indeed the reason you see them here. |

Hmm, I wouldn't really consider Portal or Aevangelist as "tech". Maybe I need to listen to those albums again... |

Read the description properly, will you?
Not a list exclusively about technical death, but rather COMPLEX ones. Most Post-death I heard are pretty complex, Portal and Aevangelist being no different. So yeah. |

Touche.
Post-death? Post seems to me to be the new "avantgarde" term when people don't know what to call something that clearly fits into a specific genre but is still different or odd enough that people feel the need to differentiate it from the rest of the genre. |

I first heard the term "Post-death" thrown around by !J.O.O.E.! for... Flourishing, maybe? It stuck on me as it's pretty accurate-sounding to my ears. Also; I think it's far more decipherable and distinguished in nature than Avantgarde, if we look at the said terminology by itself and not into separate components. |
