They are one of the few “mainstream” rock bands that are widely accepted by many metal heads. They have yet to release an album I dislike. Here is my “personal” ranking of all of QOTSA’s studio albums. They’ve been one of my favorite band for over 15 years now. Maybe this will also help some new fans discover more of their discography. A list that is connected through one of my favourite guitarist Mike Slamer. Most famous for being in City Boy but has been band member, songwriter and producer for quite a lot of bands and albums. It's not a complete list of all the albums he's been part of but a a huge chunk of it. Not featuring the two Streets albums as I will make a seperate Steve Walsh discography list.

Ah finally, it took some time to get through them all. As you can see I consider most of ARP albums to be quite equal in quality, usually it's as little as 1 songs that makes the difference. I was quite suprised actually how much I enjoyed his discography overall, I was pretty familiar with all the albums up to Mystica but after that I lost my interest, as it seems most of the albums released after is just as much fun as the other ones.

If you are unfamiliar with ARP my recommendation is that you start with a live album by them, those are always good fun and if you like it then check out the studio albums.
