Gorenoise is an extreme subgenre of Grindcore that combines Goregrind and Harsh Noise. The production is almost always Lo-Fi and extremely noisy with lots of static noise. The vocals are distorted even more than normal Goregrind vocals, and often sound like gargles or burbles. Drum machines are the norm because of the high speeds of the music. The genre is mostly made up of one-man projects that release dozens of splits and lp's. This list is a compilation of popular* releases and also releases that I greatly enjoy.

Slam is a sub genre of Brutal Death Metal that is characterized by extremely low guttural vocals, a high-pitched snare drum, and of course, slams. Slam is extremely primitive sounding and is very rhythmically focused. All of the instruments, including vocals, are meant to act as percussion instruments.
