30 years is a long time for a band to be active and it is also about as long as I have been a fanboy. Since I first heard the opening notes of "Symphonaire Infernus Et Spera Empyrium", I forever fell in love with My Dying Bride. Grab a coffee or a beer, Metalstormers, this is going to be a long-ass review.

I can honestly say that I'm not able to get into this one, it's not their worst release exactly, but not that good either imo. The songwriting seems kind of stale on this, usually there's at least one moment that stands out for me on a MDB album, however on here there is none.

Now that you are up to date with their full lengths, perhaps you could try a few their EPs. I think there are three that are important enough.
Symphonaire Infernus Et Spera Empyrium
The Thrash Of Nakes Limbs
The Barghest O' Whitby.

The last one mentioned I really enjoyed. Felt like a true return to their old, more savage style. The first two are classics and specially Symphonaire. That opening track is legendary.

Talking about MDB EPs, dont miss out on their 2013 one. It is excellent, if you ask me.
