I may be in the minority, but I think the last three Deftones albums have been the best they've done. Definitely curious about this one

Expected the usual greatness that Deftones usually create. In the end completely blown away truly a full album experience that I believe now sits near the top of their whole entire discography.

3,4,6,7........Rated on these 4 tracks. After ages I got hooked up with an alternative album.

This is as catchy as hell, so enjoyable. My first Deftones album purchase since Diamond Eyes and this is very good. I guess I must have missed out on the other albums released in between those two.

Honestly, I just checked this one out maybe a month ago, but I can say this is my fave work of Deftones since Saturday Night Wrist. There's this great atmosphere flowing all the way from beginning to the end of an album and it simply doesn't get boring.

You think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was a man. But it was nothing to me but blinding.

This is a really good album. Take it from someone who isn't a Deftones fan.

Loved this album. Genesis is such a great song. That "balance balance balance" gets me everytime.

The sound and song structures are kind of like a progression of Gore I suppose, not a bad thing, though, but after a while it does start to get a wee bit dreary tbh. The production still has that slight edgy rawness to it, the vox is as cool and hypnotic as ever, and drumming is quality as usual, the songwriting is good but not great just like the previous, but overall it's yet another solid release.
"Urantia", and "This Link Is Dead" are the two main stand outs for me,the opening track "Genesis", and the closing title track are ok too, the rest is sort of average for me.
