Sounds like somebody needs more toes dipped into death metal
I cannot speak as to the quality of both records as I have only heard them once each.

No arguments from me on that!

They're becoming increasingly dreamy and melodic with every new album, which suits their Lovecraftian aesthetics so well. I'm spotting a lot of post-black elements with occasional eruptions of brutality here and there.
After a few listens I'm totally hooked

Listened twice today. Top quality death metal, melodic, sombre, progressive, blackened, full of guitar and vocal hooks, and engaging throughout. Great musicianship, great songwriting. Amazing cover art by the usual suspect, Paolo Girardi. Only one flaw: it sounds compressed. Still, it is the best death metal album I've listened to so far this year.

Now this is a death metal release. I always knew these guys existed, and listen to "Swallowed By The Oceans Tide" once, way back. They didn't really hit back then because I was more into the more melodic subgenres of metal back then, but holy fucking shit. This is by far my favorite death metal release of this year, absolutely bloody amazing.

I agree with you. After a few listens to this new album, it got me. Great music and production, one of the top albums this year for me.

This was great on first listen but it only gets better the more you listen, and it's fast becoming one of my favorite releases of the year. It has such a terrific sound and atmosphere and the guitar work is fantastic.

Maybe it's just a case of first album I heard syndrome.

This one of the best álbuns of the year !!! My favourite still Fires in the distance but this guy's make a really powerful job down here. The german bands in this last year's have surprised me in this type of sound where they don't have the crown. But like last year Dark Millennium with acid river and discover Dark fortress, makes them a real threat to this throne...
By the way this band sounds like several bands like in moments bloodbath , but mostly like 1914...among other great bands

Seven crowns and cosmic chaos vinyls have arrived , one of the few newer albums i havet on vinyl.

Very good album. More of melodies and BM vibes with bit of doom here and there. Overall fantastic effort by the band.

Well this was epic death metal. Very sweet album
