- Sir, we got something here!!
- Let me see... What is it?
- Only sound sir, it resembles something my brother calls death metal sir.
- Death metal? A declaration of war?
- I don't think so sir. Here, let me show you....

i c deaf people
I am surrounded by deaf people. They fail to recognize that The Arrival is - right after the complete letdowns Catch 22 and Catch 22 V2.0.08 - Hypocrisy's weakest effort.
The brilliant Fourth Dimension but also Abducted, The Final Chapter, Hypocrisy and even Virus are superior to The Arrival if you ask me. Apart from Eraser and Slave To The Parasites, I just can't hear any outstanding songs on this album. It seems to me that Tägtgren didn't fully recover from the previous album's shame when he recorded The Arrival.

Too many limp songs with no intensity, aggression or catchy moments. Really weak album.

Their old stuff is better.
