The beginning audio for the song "Hang Him High" featured on the 2009 album "A Taste Of Extreme Divinity" was a quote taken from renowned American contract killer Richard Kuklinski. He was asked "if he felt like an assassin?" He responded by saying "Assassin? Sounds so exotic. I'm just a murderer."
Peter Tägtgren owns a town called Pärlby that has a population of about 120-130 people. It's about three hours northwest of Stockholm. It started when Peter was renting a studio and an apartment in the town, then he started expanding the studio which resulted in paying more studio rent. So he took out a loan and bought the house which the studio was in, which was owned by a company. The company owns huge condo complexes in Stockholm and offered a good deal to Peter to buy the town.
Beside many extreme metal releases Peter Tagtgren has also produced and mixed, at the renowned Abyss Studio, the second album of the Swedish Gothic rock act Desire, "There Where Candles Fade". He also did some backing vocals on the opening composition of the album, "Insane".
