One year after their debut album, "Within Deep Dark Chambers", Shining, "The Suicide Squadron Of Stockholm" (as it is being written on the back of their second release), managed to return stronger with a brilliant piece of self-destructive, anti-humanistic and suicidal black metal that will pin the listener to the ground. "Shining II - Livets Andhallplats" came out of the darkness of Scandinavia during 2001 and at that very moment a twisted wind of negative and ominous emotions started blowing so as to destroy everything remaining pure and kind.

I finally checked this out and it's probably my favorite by them, barely passing IV. I read an interview and Kvarforth said that he intentionally put the bass guitar high in the mix, and it was a good idea.
