I'm extremely familiar with "The End is Begun" by Three and various other songs from other albums (Just got their discography). I'm listening to this album as I write this for the first time, it seems extremely poppy but with some decent musicianship. That's the one thing that keeps me teeter tottering with this band, their tendancy to go from some epic progressive stuff with phat awesome guitars and musicianship, to poppy Claudio style sung lyrics. Not that that's extremely bad, it does grow on you...but hmmm.... On another note they gave perhaps one of the most amazing opening acts I have personally ever seen at Dream Theater's Prog nation '08.

Right now it's the first time I'm listening to the album, and I totally agree with you. I hope they won't follow this style on the upcoming album.
