It was during 2004 Einherjer laid down their weapons and ended their legacy. Once a warrior, forever a warrior and no matter how much your armor has grown old there's always a time to put it on and revive the restless spirit breathing deep inside. That's the easy part of the story, to stand armed and ready. The difficult aspect is whether you're still in shape to let live once again the grandeur of past victories or not. It can always end up in tragedy and blemish achievements that granted you a place in the halls of Valhalla.
Almost a year and no updates at all since that announcement. I hope this doesn't turn into another "wintersun - time"!
Of course the guys have private lives to attend to in between the recordings, but an update would be nice. I hope it's not been put on hold.
I've had great expectations from this album as Blot was a great album (I even consider it one of the few best in this sub-genre), and, to be honest, Norrøn wasn't able to live up to them. Still I enjoyed this album 'cause it's the same good old Einherjer sound which is easily distinguishable from the countless other viking bands.
