I didn't think "Memorial Roots" was a very good album.... Im really hoping this one will be better.

Rating: 9 Listening to the album now... this is much, much better than "Memorial Roots"! This is more like it from them. The 2 bonus tracks are awesome too!

A bit on the heavier side I think, still not sure if it's better than the previous album, nothing really jumping out at me yet. Temple of Stone is a catchy tune though.

Overall, it definitely is heavier than the previous album. Strangely enough, most of the immediate, catchier tracks are on the 2nd half of the album. It took about 3 plays before the first 2 tracks started to grow on me. xD

Rating: 8 I love the song "In These Walls", and i have to say that this singer is definetly one of the best in the Metal scene.
Well, in the same line of "Memorial Roots", the same style, but this "On The Spur Of The Moment" is a little less inspired.

And just in the nick of time, 2011 turned out to NOT be such a shitty year for power metal after all. There were several excellent released but overall it seemed to be such a downer, especially for established bands. Well, thank you Brainstorm for releasing such a nice album! It held my attention quite nicely, was interesting and energetic, and well produced. Solid all the way around
