22:01 - Apothecary 90 minute album, so you might have to take it in steps :p
22:01 - Apothecary I think you'd like it, honestly. It's some really good ambient music, but more in a "I love you, be happy" kind of feeling. Kinda hard to believe it's the same guy doing it lol [link]
21:55 - Erik M. Ah I see. Well, I'm not familiar with Seirom, but maybe I need to check it out.
21:53 - Apothecary and he said he just needed a more positive release from the COA and GTT songwriting, which takes a toll on him. Understandably so
21:50 - Apothecary Seirom is comparatively a walk in the park compared to his other projects, really warm and uplifting, actually. So I asked him where that difference of styles comes into play
21:45 - Erik M. Ah, good to hear, even though I'm totally not a fan of his work (I'm familiar with some of it). Btw Che, have you seen my latest (to many, boring) list? [link]
21:23 - Apothecary Briefly, after his Seirom performance. He's really nice, you would not expect someone who makes that kind of music to look that normal. We discussed the various inspirations behind his projects
We'll hear from 'em soon.
According to their official website: "After three years despite all difficulties the album is fully ready, we shall share 3 of the 9 songs on the internet at most to fulfill the promise we had made to our friends and Kahtmayan's fans. Naturally the album will be fully distributed by a known publisher outside Iran, most probably. And we won't be able to share the whole album on the internet till then. The first song will be published in early 2013."
Actually you can hear/view some of their rehearsals here and here.
The recording quality is awful in rehearsals, but I like some special aspects of "Sacred Fire".
