He understood the emotions of people here. He has various cards to play with them - castes, religion, class etc. With right winger, he wanted to emulate Putin.

It's rare that an album comes along and makes you double take so fast you snap your neck and your eyes bulge up and blow out like Cohaagen in Total Recall, but that is what Power Trip achieved with 2017's Nightmare Logic.
Man, this site is so full of jaded metal-heads calling bands overrated and hating on people's interests. I'm making it my mission going forward to counterbalance all that noise.
This is a good ol' fashioned thrash record, showing up on a lot of Best of 2017 lists around the web. It isn't going to redefine the genre, but it is definitely a fun listen if the music suits your interests.

Sorry to step on your toes homie, but your opinion isn't worth anymore than anyone else's.
I remember this album being a big thing when it first came out. Even the hipster media hailed it as one of the year's best metal albums. In my opinion it was a great album at first, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly the more I listened to it. Now I think it's just good modern thrash with great production, but I'd take the old classics any day over this. The same guy who produced this also did at least one album with Cavalera Conspiracy, and it sounds equally as great as this.

You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like!

Maybe not, but his opinion is objectively true. Those who call stuff overrated are just arrogant, because they act as if they were the only ones knowing the true value of an album though tens or even hundreds have agreed it's good through their ratings.
Nothing new or original in the slightest, just simple old-school, non-stop thrash, performed and executed to a high standard. Still one of the best sounding new wave thrash metal to records I've heard recently. Riley Gale was taken way too soon, he had such huge potential as frontman for this wicked band
