23:33 - Troy Killjoy You can't refrain from drinking or using the bathroom for a few hours at most?
23:32 - Fearmeister Try watching all 4 1/2 hours of Das Boot in one sitting
23:32 - Erik M. As I said, I actually prefer not having breaks if I didn't need to use the toilet and get a drink every now and then. It's not a matter of attention span, as I said. I have no problem watching extremely long movies either.
23:32 - Zaphod Erik, well I usually go to cinemas in Gent, Antwerpen or Sint-Niklaas and those definitely don't have breaks.
23:30 - Redn1ght Well you can get more tired/fatigued if you watch a boring movie. :p
23:29 - Erik M. Zaphod, ah I see. But I went to the cinema in Belgium a few times and I could swear there were breaks as well. In this country it's normal, even though not all cinemas use breaks. Of course breaks are used to earn more money...
23:28 - Troy Killjoy If so, it's completely unsurprising that you need several breaks when watching a movie. You might need to train your brain better to focus on one task at a time. That is a skill, much like multitasking.
