Greenhouze - Biography

This band's profile is 'invisible', meaning that it's much less prominent on the site - either because it's incomplete, or maybe doesn't entirely fit MS format.

Biography

Greenhouze are fronted by the highly respected figure of vocalist Solli (a.k.a. Hans Olav Solli), a former frontman for 21 Guns, Psycho Motel, Sons Of Angels, Cat Eye and Vagabond. The band concept was initiated during 1995 by guitarist Lars Berget and keyboard player Alex Henriksen, both veterans of Second Heat. With this band dissolving in 1990 Berget entered the world of session playing, even performing live on Norwegian television as backing guitarist to Celine Dion.

Re-activating his musical union with Henriksen the guitarist founded GREENHOUZE in December of 1997 and cutting an opening demo. Vocals for these sessions came courtesy of Lars-Thomas Gronlien. Henriksen opted out in 1998 to join Engine and Solli was drafted as lead singer later that same year.

Greenhouze signed to the German MTM Music label for a self titled January 2005 album. Featured musicians included Lars Levin of Second Heat on guitar and bass, drummer Frank Tostrup of Shirley's Temple and 21 Guns man Leif Johansen on backing vocals.
