Biography

Auracle is a combination of young talent and years of experience, which can be heard in the varied and subtle musical structures wherein no single instrument is subject to another, wherein choirs and orchestras accompany roaring guitars to take you into Arabic and Asian atmospheres.

Auracle was founded about four years ago by Dutch composer / keyboardist Joris van de Kerkhof and lyric-writer / bass player Fred Hasselman, as a studio-project named MYTHICA. Soon a stable core formed as singer Bryan Ketelaars, Guitarist Niek van Doorn and drummer Marco Verberne joined the band. The demo resulting from this project - 'Confessions of a Demi-God' (2003) - received praising reviews both in the Netherlands and abroad. Demand for a full-length CD increased.
The past few years have been spent writing material for the debut album which is scheduled to be recorded later this year. 2005 also saw the end of the search for a female singer: Amelie Mangelschots from Belgium will be joining the band on stage. And thus the Studio-project has grown into a live-band named Auracle.

The bands' second demo, 'Crystal Lies', has been released mid August 2005 and is currently available through the website and at performances.
