Biography
CHOREA (from lat. “Chorea Sancti Viti”) was founded as a musical project by the Lviv’s musicians Yuri Krupyak «Lama Culta, Polynove Pole, Incrustator, Kroda) and Andriy “Ruen” Shalay (better known on his work with Pagan Land) at the beginning of winter 2014. The drummer, Lykane Graven (Nahemoth) joined project in spring and, as things were heading towards the end of the year, Andriy “John” Kindratovych (Iriy, Polynove Pole, Kristoferro) completed the rhythm section line-up. By the beginning of 2015 Dennis ''Kuka'' Kukushkin (Dogma, Dragobrath, Cranium) took the place of bands vocalist.
From the musical point of view CHOREA’s material is a symphonic black metal with lyrics in Ukrainian, which gets the listeners acquainted with the history of dark medieval ages in mankind’s history. At present the band is working on it’s first LP «Chronicles of the Darkened Earth« that will consist of 6 songs.
