Desospheres is a melodic death metal band from Wemindji (Paint Hills), Quebec, Canada.
Formerly known as Aurora. The band has come quite a long way since its beginnings. Being one of the first all out metal band from the Cree Nation, they did their debut gig during the summer of 2009 in celebration of their hometown's 50th birthday. They were well-received and praised despite only playing covers. Thereafter, they pursued into writing their own material to play live in future gigs. After various changes of the band name and even changes of style in music and line-up, the band has grown more into a highly developed group.
Desospheres has now finished writing songs for their upcoming album that will be released sometime in 2014.
