Biography

Dreaming was founded in summer 1993 by Thomas (drums), Thomas (bass, vocals) and Sandro (guitar, vocals) in Motor City Zschopau, Saxony. The first concert was played in February 1994 with Mirror of Deception and Dawn of Winter and in summer 1994 they published a demotape called "Smirten Prøben". A lots of events with bands like Naevus, Solitude Aeturnus, Morgana Lefay and others followed.

The debut, entitled "Tý Vøl?ý " emerged in October 1999 on their own Slow Fox Music imprint, promoted with support gigs to Solstice, The Lord Weird Slough Feg, Warning and Jack Frost. In Spring 2001 they released a new song called "Treadmill" on the Psychedelic- Compilation "Out of Focus - Vol. 1" and recorded "The Warstarter" for a St. Vitus-Tribute on Raven Moon Records (which never was released). In Autumn 2001 two gigs in Hungary with Mood and Convoy were done.

In 2003 they played at the first European Doom - Festival Doom Shall Rise in Crailsheim/Triensbach and in 2004 at the Autumn of Doom - Festival at Die Eiche/Obereuerheim together with Reverend Bizarre, Officium Triste, Rise And Shine and others. The second album "II" was released on PsycheDoomelic Records as CD and on The Skull Records as LP in 2006. Dreaming played at Doom Shall Rise V. in Göppingen, at the Low Frequency Assault Festival in Nuremberg 2007 and at the second Dawn of Doom Festival in Einsiedeln/CH in 2008.
