Founded in 2006 by Dorian (ex-Landvaettir), band main composer, Jarell brings a subtle mix between violence and melody, darkness and rythm boost. His sense of arrangement and his permanent quest for melodic perfection make Dorian the main actor of the band. The musical colour is then brought by his technicity skills and his subtle apprehension of the musical art. The band initial name was "The Vendetta Project"

During 2006/2007 winter, the band tunes its lineup and get the name of "Jarell"

Seb (2nd guitar) is the first member to join the lineup. He brings a Hardcore touch to the riffs and a somewhat percusive and powerful vision of music. The consistance of his play combines perfectly with Dorian's one.

Dom (ex-LA Chose) brings rage and power with his drums. Sharp and percutant, combining both technicity and power, his play can sometimes remember Dirk Verbeuren (Scarve) in his cymbals play.

Jean, interested by the first demo listenings, brought an electronic breath to layer the particular ambiances of each track and to bring a more personal and out-of-norms universe. The use of samples reminding both Dark Metal and Black Metal brings the band to an incontestable musical richness.

After several auditions, Jarell gives the microphone to Chris (ex-Whydraft). He provides an extraordinary humanisation of the tracks as well as a lyrical power that Jarell had always seeked for.

The Jarell lineup in completed late 2007 with the arrival of Phil at the bass. After releasing a 4 tracks demo and doing a promo tour for the forthcoming first album, several labels are contacted. Jarell's fate is settled down by inking a deal with Thundering Records.

"Hidden side" is now to be released in Sept/Oct 2008.
