Biography

AfterLife emerged from the chaos around 2000 as a single project, and remains so still, although it can be in the near or slightly longer time to change. For now, all the instruments and vocals supports some 0015 ninety seconds, which in principle is primarily a guitarist. In early October 2000 AfterLife registered in private households, their first demo "Unconditional", containing 7 of the composition. The music that you hear, oscillates around the thrash and classic heavy metal, although it is not without a bit of the other, even pozarockowych influence (the song "Annihilate The Psycho"). Generally we can say that is a mixture of staccato guitar-rock and high dose of melody.

In August 2002, led to a second demo AfterLife, entitled "The Weakness And Wickedness." It consists of 11 compositions, and builds on ideas of unity. Much more here, however typical thrash / heavy metal play, but there is also the experiments (songs: "Unconditional" (with female vocals) and "In A Silent Room"). On board there is also the flagship band composition, "Afterlife" (recorded slightly earlier than the other tracks - Spring 2001). Generally, this material is clearly more mature and more interesting than its predecessor.

Latest AfterLife compositions, numbering 11, were recorded in spring and summer of 2005 and found themselves on the band's third demo "Dignity or Death." This material is kept in a typical AfterLife melodyjno-thrash metal conventions, but also brings many changes in relation to the first two albums. First of all, the compositions are more consistent, one hundred percent hardware and basically devoid of any dose of experimentation, which is generally better. In addition and equally important, this demo is much better endowed, and klarowniejszym heavier sound than previous material. Stylistically, the songs of the three are located in the area between Iron Maiden and Slayer. In some songs there is a vocal polyphony ("Man With An Axe", "Seeds of Evil"), is also an acoustic track ("Into the North" - a dedicated Quorthonowi). "Dignity or Death" is undoubtedly the most interesting, the sharpest and most oldschool metal AfterLife proposal as yet.
