Biography

Even though the band was officially born in Modena on September 2009, the idea behind DUMPER grows through years of solid musical partnership between Eddie Cantoni (bass & vocals) and Lo Malaguti (drums). After playing across Italy with various cover projects, they both decided to start a band with their own stuff and, almost by chance while having some beers, they found in Luca Cabri (guitarist for Trick Or Treat) the missing piece of the combo. Their unlimited passion for classic Hard Rock and Heavy Metal makes the songwriting process very natural and quite soon they have enough material to step forward and record their debut album: so, under the wise supervision of Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios), DUMPER enter Fearstudio in Alfonsine (RA) on 2010 loaded with watts and killer riffs; they get out of it with "RISE OF THE MAMMOTH", a 10-song full-length including a revisited version of The Beatles hit "Ticket To Ride". In the meantime, on the wave of the excellent studio result, DUMPER start their live activity and play various Italian clubs, boasting their repeated participation to the itinerant "Italian Headbangers Fest". At the beginning of 2011, while on the search for a label to put the album out, Cabri chooses to focus completely on Trick Or Treat and is then replaced by A.J. Frassi, who nevertheless (due to unexpected job commitments) will leave the band after 4 months only. Meanwhile, a deal is signed with Nadir Music / Buil2Kill Records for the release of RISE OF THE MAMMOTH, which is put on the digital distribution channels on March, 21st 2011 through Believe Digital and then, in CD form, on April, 4th 2011 through the main world distributors (Audioglobe in Italiy, The Omega Order in the U.S.A., Twilight in Germany, Plastic Head in the U.K?). The empty guitar slot is filled by Simone "The Beast" Severi, the first show supporting the records are played, the engine runs perfectly and the band is ready to fire its wall made of watts and rock'n'roll anywhere!
