Biography
Rotting formed in 1992 in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada; with Korey Arnold on Vocals, Keith Devry on drums, Jeff White on Bass and Mike Belfry on guitar. After Mike's departure due to personal differences, Rob MacAulay joined on guitar.
Throughout Rotting's career, they released 5 official recordings: Human Race Liquidation demo (1994), The Forgotten demo, Drown in Rotting Flesh demo, Crushed on United Guttural Records (1998), The Forgotten, Crushed (2007 re-issue).
The Original Christ Crusher album was recorded by Roger Beaujard of Mortician; but was never released.
The band disbanded in 2005 due to conflicting schedules and lack of personal interest by some of the band members. Vocalist Korey Arnold formed the death metal band Burning Caskets, with former Rotting guitarist Mike Belfry, in 2008.
