Rudhira began life in June, 2010, when Andreas, Lars, Ole-Martin and Tomas decided to form a new band together. The members had been in previous bands together and played live together several times.

The first months as a new band was spent rehearsing and writing while recording the music in various studios in and around Trondheim. Rudhira's debut album, Ein, was released on Pug-Nose Records on June 1st, 2012.
