Haha you're fast! I agree for a band with only one album (minus Jari's Ensiferum days) they seem to be overly legendary... let's see where they stand after they have a chance to fall from grace and disappoint, taking them long enough... |

Wintersun. Duff band.
I'm sure it'll go down well with many other people though... But meh, Sabaton should be ok. |
| Now Turisas. What's with all the overrated bands so far? |
YES YES YES YES YES YES!!
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter confirmed!!! It will be the first time the band ever play this country I think. Saw them at Wacken 2007 and they are a real pleasure to watch live. |

| This line up keeps getting better and better each year, now it's finally time for me to see Satyricon... play their older stuff. |
| I'm sure B.O.A used to be far more power metal than it is now, seems very doom laden now, is it just that peoples tastes have changed or are they just trying to make another Ozzfest. |
| Quite liking the lineup so far, thought i think theres enough vikingmetal there lol could do with some good ole thrash bands. |

Yes, you're right. Bloodstock used to have much more power..
Still, there's time for some to be announced this year. |

| Jesus h christ Saxon and Amon Amarth on the same day? that to me would be like, almost the awesomest thing ever lol |
| Enslaved, Satyricon and Wintersun - nice - Saturday for me! |

@Barry: One overrated band less for you...
Quote: All Wintersun shows cancelled
There has come again unexpected problems with technology, which will make finishing the "Time" album even more harder than it has been. Which will delay it even more. There´s also some personal problems concerning my apartment.
Because of all the problems, I have fallen under a serious amounts of stress, which is sometimes causing me "writer´s blocks". This album making is now turned into such a "risky business", that I have no choise, but to cancel Summerbreeze and Bloodstock.
The thing is, the album has to be done first, before we can play any shows. Playing just old songs after many years isn´t something we want to do and what probably no one wants to see.
After the album has been mixed, I need to mix again a "backuptrack livemix" (of the synths&orchestrations). Then we have to of course practise the new songs and arrange them into "live format" (especially mine and Teemu´s guitar parts). We also need to update our humble live gear.
All these arrangements take time, so we don´t want to risk it, that we might have to cancel the shows last minute. It must be done now and put finishing the album the number one priority. After the album is done, we will start booking shows again.
I know there´s lots of disappointed people and I have to apologize. But I hope that you´ll understand my decision under these circumstances. I have to put the album first and finish it before we play any shows. Thanks for listening! |

Brilliant the new Chinese Democracy? What I actually think is that they haven't recorded a single note yet. |

Hahaha, well I'm not too bothered about them pulling out, but I know there will be a load of disappointed people.
Still, Carcass there, that'll be great again. It'll be what... my forth time seeing them... and that's for a band who were supposed to only be doing a few shows. Hahaha. |

| Well I hope Moonspell isn't the replacement. I'd rather chop a testicle off than endure them again. |

I heard from a very reliable source it won't be Moonspell (so you don't have to chop a testicle off, imo Moonspell live is vastly superior to anything Wintersun can come near to btw) but it will be Opeth (so now run off to the sawmill and remove both testicles )

| Ha, if Moonspell are a replacement then they will be a dam good one. Was pretty excited to see Moonspell at Bloodstock now, so many shit hot bands going this year already, I can't wait til August. |
| Hahahaha, I think I might die if they had Opeth there two years running. |

Fantastic I say. Bloodstock do it every year.. this will be an event to look forward to again. |

No - Carcass are headlining their day and Cradle Of Filth are co-headlining with Blind Guardian on the second day.
Even when they are still playing on different days, Carcass' slot will be later than Cradle Of Filth's slot the next day, so I don't know why you think this. |
I think those viking warriors they're having this year would be interesting. Do you think the bloodstock team were influenced by that guy who was dressed up in all those carlsberg cases last year? haha funny stuff. Something different i suppose |

Music wise I can understand your sentiments, but performance wise they would most certainly have been the most fun thing on stage there. |

Less then 3 weeks to go.
I cant wait!!
Looking forward mostly to seeing Kreator, Blind Guardian & Wolf. In otherwords the saturday. |

Yes! I am looking forward to this - hopefully I'll bump into some of you there.
About Gwar - well, I saw them at Wacken and was quite surprised really. They actually did put on a very entertaining show, it is a shame they won't be here after all. |
That was a really really fantastic festival (apart from the Cradle Of Filth incident).
I'll have my pictures on sometime today and my review on probably tomorrow some time.
I did three interviews with members of Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Blind Guardian and Equilibrium. They will be on as soon as possible too! |

My first festival and it was incredible, i hope to continue going to Bloodstock from now on if i can get enough cash each year |
