| woo, Finntroll.. it will be great to see them again!! |
|
|
|
| Shoule be a brilliant fest, Testament, Finntroll, Nevermore, Arch Enemy, Korpiklaani, Sabbat... Pretty cheap aswell! |
|

well I wouldnt say 'brilliant' yet..
Hellfest will be brilliant, so will Wacken - but Bloodstock has a bad line-up in comparison, it is however cheaper
it will be fantastic to see Finntroll again though and also Korpiklaani, Dream Evil, Nevermore and Legion Of The Damned..
I think most people are waiting for some more good additions before they decide to come - so if you Bloodstock people are reading - do all you can to get some more GOOD bands!! hahaha - you know.. like BLIND GUARDIAN that you had signed up but then they dropped (we didn't even get an explination as far as I know..) |

For an English outdoor festival, I wouldnt choose other and I agree that the line up is still weaker than what it will potentially be, wacken didn't become a great festival in its early years or hellfest for that reason( I'm unsure with that one).
At least they have backing from Wacken to become bigger in years to come.
I believe that Blind Guardian couldnt reschedule along with the moving of Bloodstock Open Air back 6 weeks though I can get a better explanation if needed, but also due to this movement we have 3 days of festival. |

| This is probably the worst BS lineup that I've been aware of. Someone said that this lineup looks like a bunch of Download rejects and they're not too far off. Personally, I'd only be up for seeing Nevermore, Testament and maybe Arch Enemy. The others I've seen or don't have an interest in seeing live (actually, Lacuna Coil's old stuff ~ anything of Karma Code will make me cry). |

| this is the wettest summer England has had since records began.. I do have some hopeful news though - our summer is supposed to start properly on the 15th of August.. just in time for Bloodstock! so hopefully it will be sunny after all |
