Interesting that Hammerfall are supporting. I've all but lost interest in them after their disappointing performance in Sheffield last year and I don't like the new album either, but it'll be interesting to see them at this show nonetheless.

commercially i agree it's strange HF are supporting, but then again Saxon is heavier, more epic, kvlt-er, and generally far better than them in almost every aspect of a concert, so in my eyes it's justified..

I don't understand why it would be surprising Hammerfall support Saxon... it's Saxon!

I think what Valentin is saying is that Hammerfall sells way more albums than Saxon so it wouldn't be surprising if they headlined.

exactly... then again, it's sad that this is probably just cuz it's in the UK, whereas i think in any other european country (especially Germany where Saxon are big, but HF are extremely popular) it would sadly be the other way around.

I personally literally just meant it was interesting because of my situation with my interest in Hammerfall, in terms of who should be headlining if they are both on the same bill then it has got to be Saxon everytime!

Different venues have different rules, and I've never been to this venue before... You should be allowed your own camera though, so long as it isn't a professional SLR camera.

Most venues in Germany even have problems with non-professional SLRs. As long as you have one of those point-and-shoot compact cameras you should be safe though.
