Line-up is already better than this year

It's always been "Rage ft. Lingua Mortis Orchestra", why is it the other way around now?

They announced that now Rage and Lingua Mortis Orchestra would be two different entities, the former focusing on heavy stuff while more orchestral tunes would be for the latter. That's better than one out of two Rage albums sounding "different".
Metal Ern - 14.08.2012 at 07:33
First Wacken, first open air European festival of any kind. Looking forward to it. Some good bands already.
Valentin B - 21.09.2012 at 15:30
So, it appears Rammstein will be one of the headliners of this festival. Corrupt once said they wouldn't fit here, should be quite interesting

Totally agree.

I really don't see why Rammstein wouldn't fit a big festival such as Wacken, or Graspop, for that matter.

Now I'm not sure anymore if it was Corrupt or Promonex who told me this, but in Germany Rammstein concerts don't really attract metalheads but rather the industrial crowd.

They're gonna play in Bucharest too so I'm probably gonna skip this Wacken too and I won't be there to see if there's any awkwardness

EDIT: Oh well, it would be difficult to attend this now, because it's sold out ALREADY. This is getting ridiculous.
Metaalkop86 - 12.02.2013 at 06:24
Hell yeah!! It will be my first ever Wacken! :banger2:
theembryo - 23.04.2013 at 12:09
What, it took about a couple of hours to sell out? Can't waste the time to blink an eye next time!!
