The artwork for Global Flatline will once again be handled by Justin Osbourne who previously worked with the band on its 2010 EP Coronary Reconstruction as well. Since 2011 marks the ten year anniversary of Aborted's Engineering The Dead record, the band decided to re-record two tracks of the album as part of the bonus material for Global Flatline. Belgian death metallers Aborted are still working on a new full-length album, the follow-up to 2008's Strychnine.213. The band has released the following statement regarding the progress on that yet to be titled new album, which will be released later this year:
"2011 is going to be an important year for the band, we have a lot of things cooking and cannot wait to share them with all of you medical deviants out there!
Good news is that we are starting pre-productions for our upcoming record on January 4th. This means we will demo all the songs for the record, make sure everything sounds good and make the necessary adjustments to make sure they are all more lethal than a chainsaw in Mr. Leatherface's hands. We're all very excited about the material thus far and can't wait to get this over with and proceed to the actual recordings later this year. Expect a fall 2011 release through our culprates in mayhem Century Media.
We are the almighty drunkards, Bro Jovi, from the US. Bro Jovi is a rabid alcohol fueled beast, and is comprised of ex- and current members of Abigail Williams (Candlelight Records), Aborted (Century Media Records), and System Divide (Metal Blade Records).
Our debut album, Songs to Crush Beers to Vol. I : Slippery When Blacked, was recorded in late Fall of 2009 and is hot and ready for mass international consumption! The album was tracked and mixed at Conquistador Studios (Cleveland, OH) by producer/engineer Cole Martinez (System Divide, Aborted, Abigail Williams) while all artwork/layout duties were handled by Avernus Studios, otherwise known as the infamous, Sven De Caluwe (Aborted, System Divide).
After what seemed to take forever, Aborted will be back in Canada so spread some "surgically infested" death metal. The band will be joined by Augury and System Divide in what is dubbed The Coronary Evidence Tour.
