Five Finger Death Punch fans, watch out. Big news are coming from the band's official site. The band has announced the release of their new single "Lift Me Up" (featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest). You can listen to the band's new single via iHeartRadio here. The song was originally introduced via a live performance at the Revolver Golden Gods. The band also unveiled that their upcoming two-part double album will be named The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 and The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2. Volume 1 which will be released on July 23rd, while its successor is scheduled for fall 2013.
A Pale Horse Named Death are pleased to announce Dave Bizzigoti as the new bassist. Dave will replace Eric Morgan, who was part of the band for the last two years. The band is about to release their new sophomore album, Lay My Soul To Waste, which will be out on May 21st through Steamhammer/SPV.
Following 2011's American Capitalist, Five Finger Death Punch has announced a pair of new albums. The band will release their fourth and fifth studio albums in two installments with Vol. 1 hitting stores on July 23rd and Vol. 2 scheduled for later this fall. Prospect Park will release the albums in North America and Eleven Seven releases them in all other territories.

Swedish group Deathstars has began writing new material for their upcoming album and follow-up to Night Electric Night, and they will be entering the studio in July. However, Eric "Cat Casino" Bäckman will not be there as Deathstars have also parted ways with the guitarist "who wanted to focus on other things in life but death" if that makes sense. Deathstars will continue as a four piece for a while and are not looking for a replacement yet. The album will be the fourth full length release from the band.

Swedish metallers Deals Death have recently parted ways with bass player Fredrik Ljung, who decided to leave the band. As of now, the band has yet to reveal his replacement. You still will be able to hear his contribution on the upcoming Deals Death album.
A few days ago, it was announced that Hate's bassist Mortifer had passed away and at the time the band had no idea what had caused his sudden passing. In a new update, the Polish group has now revealed what the autopsy determined as the cause of Sławomir "Mortifer" Archangielskij's death: heart rhythm disturbances. The bassist also suffered from asthma and had obstructive sleep apnea.
Recently, there has been a lot of speculation about Exodus on the interwebs concerning the possibility of the band's mastermind Gary Holt leaving Exodus for Slayer. The level of speculation arose when Maryland Deathfest released a statement from Exodus which cancelled their gig on the festival. The band has finally spoken about the rumours of a breakup in relation to these recent events.
The Finnish death metallers from Deathchain are streaming the entirety of their forthcoming Ritual Death Metal album ahead of time on Inferno magazine's website. The opus is set for an international release on April 5th through Svart Records but Ritual Death Metal can be heard for a limited time at this location.
Death Angel will prolong their longevity with a new album as it has been confirmed that the thrash metallers will enter the studio in Sanford, Florida, in April to start recording some new music that will follow Relentless Retribution (2010). The tentative release date is October via Nuclear Blast Records.
Napalm Death are embarking on a unique experience which merges ceramic art and music. The legendary grindcore outfit will collaborate with ceramic artist Keith Harrison in a one-off performance at the renowned V&A in London on March 22nd, 2013 starting at 7:30pm UK time. The band will play a special live set through an experimental sculptural sound system constructed by Harrison. Clad with ceramic tiles, the structures will potentially disintegrate as the performance progresses.
The Death To All Tour has announced its return to North America, following last year's run. The tour will feature members of the Human line-up, DTA1, including guitarist Paul Masvidal, bassist Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Sean Reinert playing songs from the band's first four albums, although no vocalist has been announced yet. Once again, some proceeds of the tour are going to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
