UFO - Call It Quits

UFO frontman Phil Mogg confirmed in a recent interview with Ultimate Classic Rock that, following a 55-year run, the legendary hard rock/heavy metal band has officially called it quits. This news comes nearly two years after UFO had to cancel a tour, due to Mogg's recovery after suffering a heart attack.

Ufomammut - Tenth Full Length Coming In May

On May 17th 2024, Ufomammut will unleash their tenth studio album entitled Hidden. UFO - Cancels October Concerts, Singer Suffers Heart Attack

Legendary British rock veterans UFO was forced to cancel their October concert run, due to the fact that band vocalist Phil Mogg is recovering after suffering a heart attack last week. The 74-year-old British-born musician was rushed to the hospital where he had two stents implanted into his coronary arteries. This is known medically as a coronary angioplasty and aims to re-open the blocked coronary artery by inserting one or more stents. This helps keep the narrowed artery open.

Ufomammut - New Studio Album On The Way

Italian psychedelic sludge powerhouse Ufomammut have announced the title, release date, tracklist, and artwork for their upcoming ninth studio album Fenice. The successor to 2017's 8 album will see the light on May 6th through Neurot Recordings (USA) and Supernatural Cat (rest of the world). Together with the details, Ufomammut also reveal an official music video for the album's first streaming single "Psychostasia".

UFO - Announce Last-Ever Concert

British rockers UFO just announced that they are going to take for the last time ever on October 29th, 2022 at an undisclosed venure in Athens, Greece, where the band performed its first show featuring current guitarist Vinnie Moore back in 2004. This show will also serve as the final date of the band's recently-rescheduled European tour that will take place from next summer to fall, and tickets expect to go on sale on October 1st.

UFO - Announce 2022 European Tour Dates

British hard rock legends UFO have announced a batch of European tour dates that will take place next year, heading to Germany in July, which will be followed three months later by another European leg. As part of their ongoing farewell tour, which began back in 2019, the tour includes rescheduled dates that were supposed to take place this year, but the coronavirus pandemic caused them to be postponed to 2022.

UFO - Founding Member And Bassist Pete Way Has Died

Iconic bass player Pete Way, founder of UFO, Waysted and, latterly, The Pete Way Band has died at the age of 69. He sustained life threatening injuries in an accident two months ago but fought hard until finally succumbing to those injuries yesterday.

UFO - Former Guitarist Paul Chapman Died

Sad news has come from former UFO guitarist Paul Chapman's son, who confirmed via his father's Facebook page that Chapman has passed away at age 66. Paul was part of the band in years 1974-1975, 1977 and 1978-1983.
