52 years after the release of their debut album, Deep Purple announce details for their 21st studio album. Entitled Whoosh!, it's going to be released on June 12th, 2020 via earMUSIC. For the third time, Deep Purple joined forces with producer Bob Ezrin, who invited the band to Nashville, TN to write and record new songs.

While Prosthetic Records confirmed that the work on the upcoming Vile Creature album is completed (more details to follow), sludge metal formation on the other revealed a new batch of tour dates. In April, they will perform two shows in Europe with Bismuth & Moloch (Roadburn Festival and London). Afterwards they will be heading back to North America for a string of tour dates, booked in May and June (mainly West Coast).
