Dimmu Borgir - Introduce New Bassist Victor Brandt

Norwegians Dimmu Borgir have announced that Swedish bass player Victor Brandt (Entombed A.D., Firespawn) has officially joined the team. The symphonic black metal titans will play their first show since 2014 in June and will visit all corner of the world throughout this year and 2019 and Victor is ready to storm the stage with vocalist Shagrath, guitarists Silenoz and Galder, keyboarder Gerlioz and drummer Daray.

Mutilation Rites - Debut New Song

Black metallers Mutilation Rites are about to release their first album in four years and their third full-length album. Chasm comes out on July 20th via Gilead Media in the U.S. and Argento Records in Europe. The New York band has now debuted the first track called "Pierced Larynx".

Ordinul Negru - New Lineup And Album Cover Revealed

Romanian black metal band Ordinul Negru have been working on a follow-up to 2015's Sorcery Of Darkness, which was their first album as a band and not just a one-man project of Fulmineos. Now the band is getting ready to release Faustian Nights sometimes this year through Loud Rage Records. The tracklist and the release date are still secret, but we can gaze upon the cover art, made by Alexandru Das:

However, the band will not be in the same formula as the one that released the prior album, as there have been some lineup changes. Fulmineos and Putrid are still in the band, but S couldn't be part of the project due to the distance between their cities. Replacing him are Urmuz on guitars and vocals and Orthros on bass. The band did however reveal that S has recorded vocals for a song on the upcoming album and might be a live guest on future shows wherever possible.

Rotting Christ - Enter The Studio

Rotting Christ have just revealed very exciting news! The Greek black metal veterans, who were arrested in Georgia last month on grounds involving charges of terrorism based on the band's name and later released, have entered the studio for the recording of their brand new album, which will be released in early 2019 via Season of Mist. The album will be produced by vocalist/guitarist Sakis Tolis himself, and Jens Bogren will again take on the job of mixing and mastering.

Evergrey - Working On New Album

In the last few weeks, Swedish prog metallers Evergrey have been giving fans updates on what they have been up to. According to them, they have written the final song of the new album now, and so the writing process is concluded. Cro-Mags - Harley Flanagan Sues Band Over Name

According to the New York Post, former Cro-Mags frontman Harley Flanagan is now suing the band in a Manhattan federal court, claiming they have illegally usurped the group. Harley Flanagan says the punk band Cro-Mags was his idea when he formed it back in 1981.
