Twisted Sister, now disbanded, has sued the promoter of last year's Rock Carnival festival, claiming the band has only been paid $50,000 of the $200,000 it was to receive for headlining one of the three nights at the Lakewood, New Jersey event. And they're not gonna take it. In court papers, promoter John D'Esposito and his company Rock N Festivals said they "suffered catastrophic economic losses" due to three days of heavy rain that weekend.

Florida death metallers Obituary and Bay Area thrashers Exodus have announced the "Battle Of The Bays" tour that will take place this autumn in North America. The two American legends will be supported by Power Trip and Dust Bolt. The co-headlining tour kicks off September 14th in Durham, North Carolina and ends on October 15th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
