Festerday - Releasing Debut Album

The Finnish cult death metallers Festerday are finally releasing their debut album! The group just signed a deal with Season of Mist. After three demos in the 90s as well as a split EP, the band changed its name several times from Cardinal to Peacefrog to finally ...And Oceans in 1995 and was also eventually named Havoc Unit.

Allochiria - Premiere New Animated Video

Dream Theater - To Work On New Album In 2018

After recently completing their European Images And Words 25th anniversary tour, prog giants Dream Theater are already thinking about their next album. In fact, vocalist James LaBrie revealed in a recent interview that they will work on their next album in 2018 to follow The Astonishing. James LaBrie is also preparing a new solo album that should be ready in late 2017.

Rage - Share First Single From New Album

Following the news of an upcoming full-length release, German heavy metal trio, Rage, have launched the first single called "Blackened Karma". The track will be featured on the band's 23rd studio album, Seasons Of The Black, out on July 28th via Nuclear Blast. The video for "Blackened Karma", filmed in Madrid, was directed by Jorge Escobedo from the band Sôber and Roberto Peromingo from LittleClip Production Team and From Hell Pictures. Carpathian Forest - To Start Recording New Album

The return of Carpathian Forest has been announced! After a long time, the Norwegian black metallers have recorded a rehearsal/video of the defunct US band Dead Moon's "A Fix On You". The band has also been taping demos, rehearsing for a few live shows and will start recording their next full-length, Likskue, this summer/autumn for a 2018 release.

Incantation - New Album Coming In August

It's been three years since Dirges Of Elysium, and Incantation are all geared up to bring forth their next full-length release. The new album will be called Profane Nexus and is coming out on August 11th via Relapse Records. Bruce Corbitt - Diagnosed With Cancer, Crowdfunding Campaign Launched

There's heartbreaking news to report as Warbeast and Rigor Mortis vocalist Bruce Corbitt has revealed that he has esophageal cancer. The musician has been keeping fans up to date via his Facebook page. Corbitt posted a video with an update on his condition and announcing his retirement from fronting Warbeast.

Rata Blanca - Bassist Dies

One of the biggest Argentinian metal bands, Rata Blanca, has posted some sad news. The band's bassist Guillermo "El Negro" Sánchez has died, after fighting for his life in the hospital. Guitarist Walter Giardino expressed in Spanish on the band's Facebook page his sadness about Guillermo's passing and how much he will be missed. R.I.P.
