Celtic Frost - Fischer Does Not Endorse New Reissues

Celtic Frost leader Thomas Gabriel Fischer has denounced BMG's recently announced plans to reissue the band's seminal Noise Records catalogue on June 30th. The reissues include four of the band's Noise-era studio albums: Morbid Tales, To Mega Therion, Into The Pandemonium and Vanity/Nemesis. The albums will be reissued on deluxe hardback CD and 180-gram double album sets, complete with posters and 10-inch spine bound book. All tracks have been fully remastered and releases contain previously unreleased and rare tracks.

Vallenfyre - Reveal New Lyric Video

Leprous - Set New Album Title, Release Date

Leprous has announced today the title and release date of their upcoming album. To follow the acclaimed The Congregation record, released two years ago, the Norwegian proggers will unleash the fifth studio album, Malina, on the 25th August 2017 via Inside Out Music. To coincide with this, they also announced an extensive European tour with special guests, Iceland's Agent Fresco, plus Australia's Alithia and fellow Norwegians Astrosaur. Soundgarden - Chris Cornell Dead At Age 52

The Associated Press just shared the shocking news that Soundgarden's frontman Chris Cornell has passed away. Cornell was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and formed Soundgarden back in 1984 with Kim Thayil and Hiro Yamamoto. He was also the vocalist of Audioslave and the short-lived Temple Of The Dog. Cornell also released four solo studio albums and a solo live album. According to his representative, Chris Cornell died on Wednesday night in Detroit at the age of 52. R.I.P.

Shining - Show Cancelled Amid Accusations Of Racism, Groping Women

Shining's Niklas Kvarforth is facing some controversy yet again. According to reports, the band's show in Portland was cancelled by the venue after the frontman was accused of using racist and homophobic slurs, slapping an audience member, and threatening to stab employees, as well as other alleged actions when they played at Boise, Idaho at The Shredder. Tonic Lounge, a venue in Portland, found out about Kvarforth's behavior and cancelled the show.
