Anathema's guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist Daniel "Danny" Cavanagh has just launched a Pledge crowdfunding campaign for his solo record Memory And Meaning which contains intimately recorded cover songs from artists that have inspired him throughout his life. Tesla - Guitarist Frank Hannon Releases Solo Song

In a burst of creative energy, Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon started writing his own batch of songs shortly after the band released their latest album Simplicity. While on the road touring during the summer or 2014, Frank spent all the lonely hours in his hotel rooms recording musical ideas. After returning home, Frank knew he had a batch of strong material, so Aaron Leigh (bassist) and Kelly Smith (drummer) joined him in the studio to help put the album into fruition. "Born Free" is the new video and song from Tesla's guitarist Frank Hannon solo album. The track is taken from Frank Hannon Band's new album World Peace and you can watch it below.

Dying Fetus - Returning To The Studio In The Spring

Two years have passed since their last album Reign Supreme and now it looks like 2015 might bring a new Dying Fetus album. Drummer Trey Williams says in a recent interview that the brutal death metal trio will begin recording a new album next spring. Keep Of Kalessin - Reveal New Album Details

Keep Of Kalessin have finally shared some news about their new album. In fact, the band just announced the follow-up to Reptilian (2010). The Norwegian extreme metallers confirm Epistemology as the title of the new opus which is set to February 16th, 2015 via Indie Recordings. Check out the artwork below which is a result of a cover contest hosted by Keep Of Kalessin earlier this year. Arnt "Obsidian Claw" Grønbech is now the band's vocalist as well as guitarist.

Iron Maiden - Hint At Return To The Studio

Iron Maiden's last album was The Final Frontier released back in 2010. But the band's next album could be in the works. In a Christmas card sent out to members of their fan club, and signed by the band members, the legendary heavy metallers hinted that a new studio album is looming on the horizon. The card features the band's mascot Eddie emerging from the studio along with a sign saying "Uroton 51." Some fans have interpreted the message "Uroton 51" to mean "On Tour 15".

In Flames - Announce 2015 North American Tour

In Flames are currently wrapping a co-headlining North American tour with fellow Swedes Opeth, and now announced the second leg of their Siren Charms Tour for 2015. The band will return to North America and play 21 full headline shows in February and March in support of the newest record Siren Charms. The trek starts on February 20th in Santa Ana, California and wraps on March 18th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wovenwar, who supported the band's European tour, will open all dates, while All That Remains will serve as direct support. Who's going?

Allegaeon - Debut New Video

Allegaeon have shared another new video! The tech death metal group has released their new album Elements Of The Infinite this year and now launches a brand new video for the tune "Threshold Of Perception". The band shot and edited the video themselves, with vocalist Ezra Haynes serving as the clip's director. Allegaeon shot it while they were in between their recent tours with Chimaira and Arsis where they ended up with some days off in Florida. Watch the final result here. Metal at the beach.
