Cloudkicker - Releasing 'Live With Intronaut'

Now this is something. Earlier this year, it was announced that Cloudkicker, Ben Sharp's instrumental progressive metal band, would tour North America with Intronaut as his backing band. Ben Sharp had previously vowed the band would never play live. The two bands piled into a van and every night played to a fanbase who knew they were experiencing a perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity. For those unfortunate ones who missed the shows, the band stopped off at Texas recording studio, The Fathom Tree, and played the set start to finish live and captured it all on tape. Century Media is now releasing Live With Intronaut from this recording session. Are you interested?

Stéphan Forté - To Release New Album, New Songs Online

French guitar virtuoso Stéphan Forté recently announced his brand new solo album Enigma Opera Black to be released via Zeta Nemesis Records on October 28th, 2014. This is Forte's first studio album in three years and the first released on his brand new label Zeta Nemesis. Without the constraint of outside pressure and forces, the guitarist was able to swing for the fences in a way he hadn't in the past. Fen - New Song Online

With Carrion Skies, their fourth-full length album ready to hit the streets on the 22nd of November via Code 666, atmospheric post-black metallers Fen have released a video for a track taken from the album. Made by bassist Grungyn to evoke the supernatural atmosphere of the track, the video for "Menhir - Supplicant", the fifth track on the six-track album, can now be seen below. Exhumed - Line-Up Changes

Exhumed have announced that Bob "Bodybag" Babcock has left the band but they already have a replacement. The deathgrinders will be part of the upcoming Inked In Steel tour with death metal legends Carcass and Obituary headlining the bill. Joining the band now is their new bassist/vocalist Matt "Slime" Ferri.

Just one year after the latest opus Mysterium has been released, the band is ready to release its follow-up, scheduled for an early 2015 release. HammerFall - Drummer Leaves, Stefan Elmgren Returns Temporarily

Swedish power metallers HammerFall, who released the new album (r)Evolution this year, are facing line-up changes. The band made a major announcement today. Drummer Anders Johansson is leaving the band after 15 years. The band cites musical differences. David Wallin of Pain fame will replace him. Stefan Elmgren is also returning to the band temporarily to replace bassist Fredrik Larsson while he is away on parental leave.

Ne Obliviscaris - Another New Song Released

Australian progressive metal outfit Ne Obliviscaris have released another song from their upcoming album Citadel, called "Pyrrhic".
