Sabaton - Confirm First Dates Of 'Heroes On Tour'

Power metallers Sabaton will be present their new album Heroes live this year and the Swedes recently announced the first shows of their Heroes on Tour for Europe. The first shows will happen in Spain, Portugal and France. Check out the dates below. Watch out for their new record out on May 16th, 2014 via Nuclear Blast as well.

Lascaille's Shroud - Announce New Release

Just three months after releasing its latest album, Interval 02: Parallel Infinities - The Abscinded Universe, progressive death metal project Lascaille's Shroud is announcing a new release, named Lascaille's Shroud Presents Curaga. This, however, won't be a conventional release. The music will be focused on the aggressive side of power metal, and the album's theme will be that of video games: "Final Fantasy 7", "Final Fantasy 9", "Metal Gear Solid", "The Witcher", "Bioshock" and "Beyond: Two Souls".

Bölzer - Streaming New Song

In case you didn't know, Swiss extreme metallers Bölzer will be releasing a new EP this year called Soma following their acclaimed EP Aura released last year which got them a nomination in the Best Death Metal Album category at Metal Storm Awards 2013. Initially scheduled for March via Invictus Productions, the release of Soma has been delayed, but the duo assures that it "will sound and look that much better." Fatal Smile - Guitarist Breaks Up Band And Leaves Tour

The SLoT - Singer Stabbed, In Serious Condition

Horrifying news from Russian band The SLoT today. Before a signing session in St. Petersburg, an armed assailant approached the band. After striking up a conversation to get their attention, the man stabbed singer Daria "Nookie" Stavrovich in the neck multiple times before being subdued. The band's other vocalist, Igor "Cache" Lobanov, helped to ward off the attacker and then administered first aid to Nookie until she was taken to the hospital.

Vallenfyre - Debut Another New Song

Gregor Mackintosh (Paradise Lost) founded Vallenfyre in 2010 and their second release is right around the corner. The British death metal outfit Vallenfyre has released another new song online from the upcoming Splinters. Tesla - New Album Detailed

American hard rockers Tesla are finally releasing their new album. Titled Simplicity, the opus will be out in Europe on June 6th on Frontiers Records. The Sacramento rockers are back with 14 new songs on Tesla's seventh all original studio album which follows a 6-years creative break from the release of the previous album Forever More.

Mutilation Rites - New Album This Summer

Black metal quartet Mutilation Rites will unleash a new beast this summer. Their second album will be called Harbinger, as it was announced. The group finally finished their long-awaited follow-up to Empyrean. Once again recorded with Kevin Bernsten (TRIAC, Magrudergrind) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, the new album will be the band's first full-length to feature Ryan Jones (ex-Today Is The Day) on bass and vocals. A summer release is expected; more details will be revealed shortly.

Powerwolf - To Release Box Set And Picture Discs

This should be a treat for Powerwolf fans. Metal Blade Records has announced three Powerwolf releases for June 24th. First off, there will be The History Of Heresy, a massive box set containing two CDs, one DVD, a book and more. Additionally, and for the first time ever, Lupus Dei and Return In Bloodred will be released as Picture Discs on June 24th in an edition of 500 copies each.
